Onsharp Moves to Fargo
9 months after graduating from The University of St. Thomas, Joe moves the company to Fargo. At the same time, Onsharp begins working with College Summer Nannies and Student Paths, 2 clients that would be key to Onsharp’s growth over the next several years.

First Employee Hired
After working as an independent contractor for several years, Tony Kramer becomes Onsharp’s first full-time employee, and still works for the company today. As our most senior developer, Tony builds amazing technology for our clients and is actively involved in the company’s culture committee.

Second Employee Hired
Onsharp hires Scott Babcock as our 2nd full-time employee. Scott is still with the company today as a Senior Software Developer.

Onsharp Launches SmartPay
In 9 months, Onsharp designs, builds, and launches an Electronic Bill Presentment & Payment (EBPP) solution branded as SmartPay. Onsharp integrates SmartPay with several back-end merchant processors and provides a front-end software solution that allows customers to pay online using credit cards and ACH payments.

Onsharp hires Samantha Nies as an accounting intern. Samantha goes on to become our Vice President & Integrator, a key member of the company’s leadership team.

Onsharp Celebrates 10 Years in Business
Onsharp celebrates a key milestone; 10 years in business. Onsharp now has a team of 8 and Joe Sandin is no longer allowed to write code (thank goodness).

Joe Hixson Joins Onsharp
Joe Hixson joins Onsharp as a web developer. Joe’s first project is a complete website revamp for Eide Bailly, a top-25 CPA firm. Joe blows everyone’s socks off and goes on to become VP of Operations and a member of the company’s leadership team.

CardConnect, one of the nation’s fastest-growing providers of payment processing services, acquires SmartPay from Onsharp. Onsharp continues to develop and host the product for CardConnect.

Onsharp Moves to Multiband Tower
Onsharp moves its offices to the Multiband Tower on the corner of I-94 and 45th St S in Fargo. The Multiband Tower becomes home to Onsharp for just shy of 5 years.

Jake Dahl Joins Onsharp
Jake Dahl joins Onsharp as Director of Business Development & Sales. Jake immediately takes the reigns and begins creating sales and marketing processes for the company that were long overdue. Jake, now VP of Sales & Marketing, has taken Onsharp into new markets in Minneapolis and Denver and is a member of the company’s leadership team

Onsharp Moves to New Headquarters
Onsharp outgrows its downtown location and moves into a new building at 3415 39th St S in Fargo. The new 13,000 square foot building provides ample space for Onsharp to expand its team.
